Opening Remarks

Welcome to my Blog! I have resisted the urge to "blog" up until now for many reasons, not the least of which is the commitment that it represents. The general idea, I understand, in creating a successful blog is to keep writing -- but not to necessarily post everything you've written. Since I love to write and have always enjoyed the sensation of writing on a fresh, unspoiled page, I begin my blog.

As someone who loves and is involved in the performing arts, I'm keenly aware of the need to know one's audience. Since the internet is such a vast universe, I have decided that this is the perfect venue to do what every performer wishes they could do -- to invent the perfect audience. You are whomever I want you to be.

And so...the orchestra is tuned up and ready to strike the opening chord. Standby lights...curtain ready...cue the director!
